Recipe for Bacon-Wrapped Mushroom Kabobs
I usually want to bring a special recipe when I attend a picnic or gathering. I don't have a competitive streak, but I do push myself to create something unique and enjoyable for my pals! It must also always be quick, simple, and delectable.
Simple and delicious, oven-baked bacon-wrapped mushrooms are a must-try! Simply add your preferred sauce to create as many variations as you like for a jaw-dropping appetizer in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
- 24 small button-sized mushrooms
- 12 thinly sliced slices of bacon
- Alternative Toppings
- Brown Sugar, 1/4 cup
- Sweet Asian Sauce, 1/4 cup
- 1/4 cup of BBQ Sauce
Instructions
- A 400-degree oven is recommended.
- Make little foil packets to separate the flavors if you plan to divide them into three different variations. If you are simply using one topping, that is not required.
- Making careful to remove all the debris, gently wipe the mushrooms down with a paper towel to clean them.
- Slice a piece of bacon in half.
- One-half of a bacon slice should be used to encircle the mushroom. Use a toothpick or a little wooden skewer to hold it together. Set it down on the foil.
- As needed, add brown sugar, Asian sauce, or BBQ sauce. All of this is a matter of preference.
