Recipe for Blender Pots of Creme
This gorgeous dessert is simple to create with the technique I'll be using today. It takes around 5 minutes to make in the blender. It must, however, cool for at least two hours.
This sweet treat has a lot of chocolate flavor. The richness is somewhat mitigated by the whipped cream on top. Welcome to the land of chocolate! If you truly dislike semi-sweet chocolate, feel free to substitute milk.
INGREDIENTS
- Semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- A cup of milk
- Whipping cream with added sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine the chocolate, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a blender. Blend until only tiny chocolate bits remain from the chips.
Put the milk in a dish that can be microwaved for two minutes. You want it to reach the stage immediately before it boils, so keep an eye on it.
1/4 cup of the warm milk should be added after removing the blender's cover. Blend under cover until smooth.
Continue until all the milk has been added, then mix for one minute.
Pour into 6 ramekins or custard cups.
Refrigerate for at least two hours. Serve with whipped cream on top.
Serve 6.
