 Omelette Recipe in Basic

When you're short on time, making omelets for breakfast is a quick and simple method to cook your eggs. It's very simple to modify with your preferred fillings; try doing it with cheese, spinach, ham, mushrooms, and other ingredients!

Ingredients
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt, 1/8 teaspoon
  • 10 grams of butter
  • Roasted pepper
Steps

1 Combine eggs and salt in a small bowl using a fork or whisk.

2 Melt butter in an 8-inch nonstick pan over medium-high heat until hot and bubbling. Tilt the skillet to spread the butter throughout the bottom.

3 Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and, using a heat-resistant spatula, swiftly start whisking the eggs continually. Stop stirring as the eggs start to thicken and continue cooking for another 30 to 60 seconds, or until the eggs are set.

4 Lift one omelet edge with a spatula and fold in half before adding pepper. Serve right away.
