Tocino De Cielo

 Recipe for Tocino De Cielo


Try this custard rather than pudding or jello. It has a smooth, enticing texture and is sweet and creamy. Making it may be challenging, and to avoid burning the sugar, the instructions must be followed properly. A strainer and flan molds are needed.

Ingredients
  • Sugar, 300 grams
  • Water 200 grams
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 kg of sugar
Directions
  • Set the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Pouring the caramel sauce made from the 300 grams of sugar into the little flan molds after it has been heated in the pan.
  • In another pot, combine the water and 100 grams of sugar and heat the mixture on low for 10 minutes to create the syrup. Turn off the heat and allow it to cool.
  • Egg yolks and eggs should be combined, then gradually added, while stirring continuously, to the syrup mixture. Pour into the flan molds after twice straining. Use aluminum foil to protect.
  • For small custards, bake in a water bath until hard, about 20 minutes.
