**Ingredients:**

**For the Filling:**

  • - 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

**For the Cobbler Topping:**

  • - 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • - 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • - 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/2 cup milk
  • - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

**Instructions:**

1. **Preheat Your Oven:**

   - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. **Prepare the Strawberry Filling:**

   - In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Toss until the strawberries are well coated. Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes to allow the strawberries to release their juices.

3. **Make the Cobbler Topping:**

   - In another bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

   - Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir until just combined.

4. **Assemble and Bake:**

   - Pour the strawberry filling into a 9x9 inch (23x23 cm) baking dish.

   - Spoon the cobbler topping evenly over the strawberries.

   - Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the strawberry filling is bubbling.

5. **Serve:**

   - Let the cobbler cool for a few minutes before serving. It's delicious on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.

Enjoy your delightful homemade strawberry cobbler, a perfect dessert to celebrate the sweetness of summer strawberries!
