Recipe for Strawberry Milk
A Simple 4-ingredient recipe for homemade strawberry milk. Compared to Nesquik, this simple creamy recipe is more healthier and more natural.
I adored strawberry milk as a child. Do you remember when Nesquik syrup was sold in bottles shaped like bunnies? I used to save them all because I felt horrible about tossing them away. Eventually, there were so many bottles in the cupboard behind our sink that anytime the door was opened, they would tumble out!
Healthy Nesquik Replacement
I've been craving Nesquik lately, but because I'm getting older and more health aware, I wanted to create my own Strawberry Milk recipe with ingredients that I felt comfortable about. Additionally, I wanted a beverage that I could proudly serve to my own kid.
Using fresh strawberries as the main component of a meal is essential for making it healthy!
Ingredients in strawberry milk
These Strawberry Milk components are quite basic and basic in nature. All of the ingredients for this drink are probably already in your possession. What you'll need for this simple recipe is:
strawberries with stems removed, 3 cups.
two teaspoons of sugar
0.5 cups of water
Milk
What to Do
Let's start with our wonderful dish when you have gathered all of the components. The strawberries, sugar, and water are boiled in a pot as the first stage of this recipe, and they are simmered for around 10 minutes.
Put it in a blender right now, and mix it until it's smooth. You may also use an immersion blender (my favorite kitchen equipment, especially for soups!). Please use caution because the boiling mixture will be hot in any case.
You'll get syrup after combining the strawberry sugar combination. When ready to serve, pour a cup of milk over 3–4 tablespoons of the strawberry syrup and swirl to incorporate.
You can make homemade strawberry milk that is healthier with just a little stirring! A fantastic kid-friendly beverage for breakfast or a snack!
This recipe makes 4 servings of strawberry syrup, which weighs around 6 ounces. In the refrigerator, keep the syrup in a covered mason jar. This will last for one to two weeks.
How to Veganize This Recipe
Making this dish vegan-friendly is simple. Simply swap out the normal milk for your preferred non-dairy milk, such as almond, cashew, oat, or coconut milk, to create a dairy-free strawberry beverage. Vanilla almond milk without sugar is my preferred beverage use.
What Are Strawberries' Health Advantages?
One of my favorite fruit selections is strawberry! They are among the fruits with the highest nutritious content. Fiber, vitamin C, vitamin K, and a huge variety of other vitamins and minerals may all be found in strawberries. Strawberries are also a great source of potassium, so consider eating some if you ever have leg cramps.
