Custard Pie

 Recipe for Custard Pie


It takes little time at all to prepare this delectable custard pie. It's a flaky, light pie that's perfect for dessert at any time. It makes a wonderful Christmas treat.

INGREDIENTS
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 cups of milk, 2%
  • Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
  • Three big eggs
  • Sea salt, 1 teaspoon
  • 1 raw pie shell
INSTRUCTIONS

sour milk (bring just to the point where the surface bubbles and wrinkles, but not boils).

Place aside.

Add sugar, salt, and vanilla to the beaten eggs.

then slowly scalded milk.

Pie dish with pastry-lined, custard added.

Bake for 25–30 minutes at 350°.

When a knife placed in the center comes out clean, the custard has cooked.
