Recipe for Spider Web Chocolate Bark
This recipe is almost too simple to be true. This may be made using just two ingredients: dark chocolate and white chocolate.
Ingredients
- Chopped, 12 oz (340 grams) of dark chocolate, such as Kinnerton, about 2 cups.
- Chopped 1.5 oz., or roughly 1/4 cup, of white chocolate.
Instructions
- Dark chocolate should be broken up and melted over a double boiler or in the microwave while being constantly stirred until smooth. Continue by using white chocolate.
- Pour the melted white chocolate into a ziplock bag or piping bag after it has cooled.
- Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet.
- Onto the parchment paper, pour the dark chocolate. Spread it out evenly into a layer that is approximately 1/4 inch thick using the back of a spoon.
- Cut the ziplock bag or piping bag end off. On top of the dark chocolate, carefully pipe white chocolate spirals.
- You may create a few big spirals or many little ones. A few inches of leaves should separate each spiral to create the webs.
- Drag a toothpick over the chocolate going out, starting at the center of each spiral, to produce a webbing appearance. Then, go through the remaining spirals after completing the circle.
- On the parchment paper, let the chocolate cool and be totally firm. Use your hands to break the bark into oddly shaped bits when the chocolate has completely hardened.
- Serve right away or keep chilled in an airtight container.
