DULCE DE LECHE BALLS

 Recipe for Dulce De Leche Balls


Although it is referred to as cajeta, it is not sweet milk; rather, it is a highly rich sweet that may be divided into parts and given as a sweet gift.

Ingredients
  • Cow's milk, 1 liter
  • 3 cups of sugar (700 grams)
  • A gram of butter
  • A teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Two teaspoons of baking soda
Preparation

Add the sugar, butter, and vanilla to the saucepan after adding the milk. Heat to a high temperature while hammering a wooden shovel continuously.

As soon as it starts to boil, add the baking soda while stirring. Once the consistency thickens and you can move the pot and see the bottom, turn off the heat.

Continue to move and let warm until your hands can take the mixture's heat.

Empty the pasta onto a previously moistened surface before forming the treats into balls to prevent sticking.
