FOUR CHANTERELLES

 RECIPE FOR FOUR CHANTERELLES


This recipe will allow you to try them and get a true, nutty flavor before experimenting with them in your cooking. "Whole Foods had fresh chanterelle mushrooms today! You don't see them that often because they only grow wild. Because of this, people have to hunt for them and that makes them pretty expensive."

INGREDIENTS
  • 4 brand-new chanterelles
  • One-half teaspoon of salted butter
DIRECTIONS

Cleanse the mushrooms gently with a wet paper towel.

Slice the mushrooms lengthwise after trimming the very tip of the stems.

Melt the butter in a small pan over medium heat.

Chanterelles are added, sauteed for 2 minutes, 10 seconds, and then removed from the heat.

Taste it, and savor it!
