 Recipe for Icebox Cookies


Who could possibly turn down a tempting array of freshly made holiday cookies? Make these using our All-in-One Cookie Dough.

Ingredients

All-in-One Cookie Dough, half a recipe

Directions

Step 1

Gently shape the remaining all-in-one cookie dough from 1/2 batch into an 8-inch log on a sizable sheet of parchment or waxed paper.

Step 2 

Place a baking sheet against the log and fold one short end of the paper over it. Pulling on the paper while pushing the baking sheet on the log will result in a smooth, compact log.

Step 3

Wrap the log-in paper after gently rolling it in the appropriate topping. Refrigerate for at least two hours to get firm.

Step 4

turn the oven on to 350 degrees. Place the unwrapped log on a chopping board. Slice the meat into 1/4-inch-thick circles with a serrated knife.

Step 5

Place rounds on baking pans covered with paper, spaced 1 inch apart. 13 to 15 minutes of baking time, turning the sheets halfway through.
